The idea is not new, it's been steeping in sketchbooks and drawings, but the color palette comes from a plaid, worn in shirt that I found a couple of months ago.
These are the first tests. The fabric is a light, pink-coral cotton. It's summer and sweet and soft.
I'm using light blue-violet acrylic paint and hand cut cardstock stencils.
Silk screening is the next step, but a crash course is needed.
